What Curriculum do you offer?
The Canadian School Bahrain (CSB) is a certified BC offshore school offering the internationally renowned British Columbia, Canada curriculum. CSB aims to provide an education with high academic standards through teaching the BC curriculum. The subjects we offer are English language, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, Art, robotics etc. The school also offers excellent Arabic language studies, Islamic studies, and Bahraini social studies and citizenship classes which meet the requirements of both the Bahrain and British Columbia Ministries of Education.
What are the class timings?
Sunday to Wednesday:
Nursery – KG 1: 7:40 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
KG 2: 7:40 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Grades 1-4: 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Grades 5-9: 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Grades 10-12: 730 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Thursday:
Preschool: 7:40 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Grades 1-4: 7:40 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Grades 5-12: 7:40 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.
Does the school provide Transportation?
No, we have a subcontract with a well-trusted transportation company.
What grades do the school currently offer?
The school currently offers from Nursery to Grade 11, while Grade 12 will be added in AY 2026-2027.
How many teachers do you have in a class?
We have 1 homeroom teacher and 1 educational Assistant for all preschool upto Grade 2.
What kind of after school programs/activities do you offer?
After school activities/programs depends on the grade level. We provide multiple after school programs/activities such as; horse riding, Football, paddel, swimming, Reading clubs, cooking clubs, languages, Arts, Science etc.
What kind of payment forms do you accept?
Bank Transfer / Direct Deposit / Benefit Pay – Transfer fees directly to the school’s bank account.
Credit/Debit Card – Payments can be made at the Account Department during school working hours.
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes, we do provide a sibling discount. The discount is applied on tuition fees only, other fees are not included.
Second child: 5%
Third child onwards: 10%
Can students transfer from another school during the year?
Yes, transfers may be accepted subject to Ministry of Education approval and seat availability.
